How much have politicians collectively stolen from Africa?

  • 1

Anyone with an idea or an estimate of how much the African leadership has collectively misused, plundered, stolen, or pillaged in the last 2-3 decades, suppose we had one center of power as the late Muammar Qaddafi had envisioned, would a single African presidency have wasted such colossal amounts of African wealth in the last 3 decades, could a single presidency be the answer or part of the answer to our economic and stability issues like is the case with China, USA, India, and Russia?

Politicians have stolen nearly everything to benefit their families, there are many corruption cases in court that have not been concluded

The only thing they haven’t stolen yet is our souls.

Politicians are part of us because they come from families as well. Stealing begins with an individual and it is what leads to corruption. We cannot therefore be able to put it out there that politicians have stolen this amount of money from our governments over the past 3years because we do not have a parallel instut put aside to handle this tasks all over Africa. Our governments can only function better if we try to reduce or block the loopholes that create opportunities for corruption that milk our finances. There’s no super typology of government to ensure a perfect economy but democracy is definitely the best.
