What is the biggest lie you were told in school?

Schools give a great start in life where we get to understand basic concepts and encounter lots of the knowledge we have for the first time.

Even though school is a great place to learn, meet lifelong friends and experience life, we have lots of things that are unaddressed like who sieves the truth offered to thousands of students each day for decades.

There are half truths, controversial ideas and flat out lies. What is the biggest lie you were told in school and how did you realise it was not true?
