Some time this week a clip was doing rounds of students doing the breastroke…’swimming’…on bare soil! Apart from the bruises and respiratory complications from all the dust raised, does anyone think it teaches them to swim? Why would the system not first make all schools of the same standard as Nairobi Primary 60 years later? What do people really think…or not…of the glaring discriminatory development of education infrastructure?!

I think there is a problem in the implementation of CBC, the system is becoming a burden to parents, before implementation of the new system the government should have set enough resources to facilitate learning, and in the event that they want to introduce new lessons like swimming classes, instead of telling kids to swim on the bare soil, they should first install swimming pools in every school.
This feels like the populous is being forced to adapt to a new idea of education. If CBC is this incompetent, how much more we’re our parents frustrated when 844 was introduced?
Yes. CBC should either be restructured or done away with altogether. It only favors the rich!
