Why are we men falling for this gender equality thing and giving out free posts?

in my country, this is an agenda raised many times and it ends up as we men give women free seats for the sake of a ⅔ gender rule. In that same government, we have women who fought for the seat and earned it. Where is the problem with those claiming that they have not been given the chance and why are we being so blind and falling for the game?
