Respect in a relationship can mean accepting someone regardless of misunderstandings or differences. New couples have this sense of honour and importance that they show each other.
When time goes by, this fades away and the “true colours” of your friend or partner come out. How do you maintain or foster a culture of respect in a relationship in spite of major disagreements?
Respect in a relationship means that you accept somebody for who they are, even when they’re different from you or you don’t agree with them.
Respect means knowing what your partner is comfortable with and what they are not, and staying in the lane of the former.
In a relationship, if two people are in love, respect comes automatically. Love comes with respect. By doing the right things to your patner and on time, this is respect by itself. It just happens when you are in love.
