Is Kenya bullying Somalia? Will Kenyan Somalis rejoin Somalia eventually?

  • 0

The Kenyan government is using increasingly aggressive tactics to get Somalia to abandon its maritime border claims. Right now Somalia depends heavily on Kenya for trade, finance, and logistical support. What will happen when Somalia is finally free and prosperous? Will the Kenyan policy of alienating Kenyan Somalis come back to bite us?

Not really, it’s not possible. Kenya and Somali engage in shifta war in the 1960s because, somalis in Kenya wanted to unite with the other fellow somalis in Somali and this led to a war between Kenya and Somali.
