Should Universities be forced to ensure every graduate gets a Job?

I have many friends who were very bright students and decided to fully pursue education with the hope of being helpful contributions to society and living a great work as a reward for their intelligence and hard work.

To their surprise, they have been tarmacking out here since graduating with honours and cannot even complain about it because anyone who has time to listen is going through the same predicament.

After paying millions of shillings to the educations system, the least we deserve is a job. If I was in the education ministry, I would make it mandatory for universities to give you a job. Why? Because they claim to offer the best education there is and most jobs tend to lean on or ask for your educational papers before letting you in.

Should Universities be forced to ensure every graduate who passes through their system gets a Job? That would be a fair bargain that will make them offer more quality education and also be part of the solution to unemployment.Otherwise, all those professors are useless because they do not seem to be adding any tangible value to the common person.

In my opinion, the ministry of education has played it’s part. More people are getting the basic education and higher education. So I wouldn’t think that having universities get their graduants employed is in their hands.
However, having so many unemployed people in the country simply shows that the economy is not growing as fast as the population. Thousands of people graduate every year all waiting to replace people in their jobs. This is what I mean, to get a degree takes at least 4 years, to get a retirement takes at least 25 years. You get the point?
It is more practical if universities reduce their intakes, maybe if there are fewer graduates, the quality of education will increase.
