What Sleep Habits Have Worked For You?

What do you do to ensure you get a good night’s sleep? I currently use a smart watch to monitor my sleep. I find that I only get into deep sleep for a maximum of 55 minutes. What do you do to improve the quality of your sleep?

  2. Fully planning each part of the day and leaving at least 6 to 9 hours for sleep time has worked a charm. It should soon be engrained as your sleep cycle and start coming naturally.

A cold shower before sleep also helps and glass of water afterwards rewards your body as a wake up call. Doing this daily will get you sleep rhythm in sync.

  3. I sleep better whenever it is raining. The sound of rain works like a lullaby that drowns off thought and other distractions. When it's not raining and I stole want the experience, I get rain sounds on YouTube and play them on a loop all night.

    Reading before sleep has been a habit that has put me to sleep since before I could read. Bedtime stories are a favourite and they give my mind something interesting to chew on as I contemplate sleep. Depending on the book I read, I may even have related dreams. Sometimes, watching a movie works too but I end up sleeping late if the movie is very interesting. I would like to try a sleep app to monitor how healthy my sleep cycle is over time since I never thik about it much.
