“I honestly think every person who took a payoff from R Kelly should be arrested.
Imagine taking money to conceal the fact a grown man is having sex with 13-year-old girls, that is sick. R Kelly deserves whatever he gets, but it is sad the people that helped him stay free for so long get to keep the money and not have any consequences for their actions.
Kelly is likely going to jail for the rest of his life because this is a Federal indictment and they don’t play around.”
What measures are there to serve justice equally for politicians and powerful or rich people, just like everyone else?
Would the Politician you voted for be jailed if they what R.Kelly did (rape, defile and abuse) to all those Innocent children and women?
The law should not discriminate the weak and uphold the wicked deeds of those in power. No one should be subjected to injustice just because the person who wronged them are rich or are of greater status. justice should be equal to all.
Equal justice only thrives where there is independence of the judicial system from other arms of government.
