Rich nations worldwide have set up massive economic stimulus packages that include things like unemployment benefits to those affected.
With limited fiscal space African governments have opted for other measures to combat the pandemic, For instance Kenya issuing tax cuts, setting up emergency funds and seeking help from the world bank and other financial institutions to beef up the health sector and help cushion the affected citizens. Is it enough?
