social media as many Gen Z individuals rely on social media platforms like Twitter, Instagram, and Tiktok for updates and also follow news organizations, journalists and influences who provide bite sizes updates and analysis

  1. Depends on the day. when I'm at home during the evening news, I will watch highlights and decide if the news is worth watching, most of the time it isn't! But I mostly follow news outlets on twitter so that's where I get my news from!

    As an empathy. I no longer listen to news. I also am an energetic medium who feels things by energy.

    During the covid I cried like a child to a facebook acquaintance who was so shocked that my 007 self even had an emotion let alone cry.
    Like I criedddddddd.
    Why?

    Because of the way humans where rushing off food from a van and it was too hurting to see how humans were like animals for food and to later hear how Nigeria government hide food given to share to Nigerians.

    It all broke me into several places I too never told I had for humans.

    I made a commitment to not watch news ever again.

    It makes me loose hope on humanity!

  1. Social media is my primary source of news. I sometimes watch regular cable news and find it redundant because of how it is curated. News online comes to me based on the journalists and newsrooms I follow.

  3. Most news on social media is byte sized and summarised. It is easy to get the wrong picture of a story so I prefer to look for in depth articles that cover some of the topics of my interest.
