Are we experiencing the last days of peaceful human coexistence?

For thousands of years, war has been part of the world and has even shaped today’s nations as we know them. With increase access to technology, weapons used become more deadly. More than 9 countries posses nuclear weapons today and they are not the best of friends either. In case a nuclear war happens, the world would be torn into shreads of nothingness within minutes. This is a reality that can happen anytime from this very moment. Could we be ignorantly living in the last days of peaceful human coexistence?

  1. We are living in the most peaceful times in recent history and people from the early 90s would be envious of us right now. The threat of war is there but not as much as it was even during the Cold War period.
