War Against Corruption in Kenya-We Have All Heard This Before..?

  • 2

Is there a sure-fire way out here to cure this malady for good in our country?

Corruption in Kenya is a serious problem that urgently needs to be addressed and resolved in order for the nation to grow and harness its potential.

One time in 2011, a then student of philosophy got angry at me for ‘stating the obvious’, arguing that a person who claims to be educated should not be stating the obvious… That they should always engage in constructive dialogue…

My first paragraph honestly sounds like a repetition from all kinds of leaders and politicians…. And it gives me a bad taste in my mouth to repeat this and state the obvious!

It has become like a thorn that digs deeper and hurts much worse every time I hear a politician speaking on the radio, the television, quoted in the newspaper and the ever ready to inform social media…. I am fed up! Yes, I know I am stating the obvious but I AM FED UP! Are you?

One question, not two, just one…. Is there a sure-fire way out here to cure this malady for good in our country?

Did someone mention the justice system? 🙄

Honestly I feel Kenya is one fucked up nation .

All the systems implemented to help its citizens are screwed and as Kenyans we are to be blamed for allowing the same corrupt systems to work each and every time.

95% of Kenyans are fed up and yet what are we doing about it ? Repeating the same old mistakes time after time.

We have the Key to change we are just to lazy /scared to use it.

Corruption is a serious problem that is not only affecting Kenya but Africa as a continent. Politicians keep on singing about fighting Corruption but they are doing nothing to eliminate it. Good measures should be put in place to end Corruption.

Corruption is deeply rooted in Kenya and it will take a lot of energy and time to do away with corruption. I feel like ,it should start with you as an individual to change and do things as it is needed. Then hopefully people will emulate.
