This is more of a personal philosophy than a question that would have a common ground.
We’d have to establish what is free will and to what extent do I have control over it.
What situation/predicament I’m I in in that particular moment?
How much money(because no matter how much I love principal and morality, I’d do almost anything if I know with absolute certainty that I can example cure a family members terminal illness or even my own.
No matter what one is given, one will never be at peace if their freedom is taken away. Giving up your freedom in exchange of material things is like imprisoning oneself. one becomes a property of another.
