How good are your Reading habits?

With Kenya being ranked as one of the countries with the poorest reading cultures in Africa, I am tempted to ask just how good are you with books?

Do you belong to any book club? Do you budget for new books are the end of the month?

Study shows that people who love books are in most cases very smart people.

We are forming a book club where we will be settling on one book to read in a month then have a book discussion at the end of the month. We also hope to be inviting the authors to come and answer our questions during these sessions.

Recently, I have found it challenging to strike a balance between reading physical books and listening to audiobooks. While audiobooks are convenient, I find that reading a physical book allows me to better engage with the material and retain more information. I enjoy the tactile experience of holding a book, turning the pages, and underlining passages that resonate with me.

My main reading goal for this year is to read one or two books per month, depending on my schedule. I am always on the lookout for new and interesting books to add to my reading list, and I am excited to continue exploring different genres and authors.”
