should men be included in the vulnerable group?

For years we consider vulnerable people as those who are disadvantaged in the society based on some factors or characteristics that they have and may need humanitarian assistance. Usually this group consists of children, elderly, people with disabilities, people living with HIV/AIDs, refugees, Youths, women, LGBTQIA+ community among another’s. When it comes to men that’s a different story as we pay little or no attention to their rights. Do you think its time their voice is heard?

  1. To include men in the vulnerable group, we have to undo the current way of life that is patriarchy. Anyone in dire need should be treated as vulnerable on a current status basis that compares to others and gives priority to those in most need no matter what their gender or personal description is.
