Whoa, that’s definitely a huge, complex dilemma — and understandably unimaginable for most people. Romantic or sexual relationships between siblings are taboo and illegal in many places due to ethical, legal, genetic, and social reasons.

Here’s how to handle such a situation thoughtfully and carefully:

    1. Acknowledge the Reality and Emotions: This is a sensitive topic with strong feelings involved. Approach with empathy, not judgment.

    2. Encourage Professional Help: Suggest they speak with a qualified therapist or counselor who can help them understand the emotional and psychological implications, and guide them through their feelings.

    3. Consider Legal and Social Consequences: They need to be aware of the laws in their location, and the potential impact on family and community.

    4. Protect Boundaries: If you’re a friend or family member, gently set clear boundaries to avoid enabling or encouraging the relationship.

    5. Prioritize Well-being: The well-being of both individuals is paramount — including mental health and safety.

    6. Seek Support for Yourself: Dealing with such a dilemma can be emotionally taxing. Don’t hesitate to reach out for your own support.

  1. This is the hardest situation I've seen recently. I don't know how they are managing this on their own with all the people who disowned them. At least they have each other and we'll wishers standing by them. May they get strength to pull through.
