Although religion has always been very popular across the world, the new generation is not adopting it as much as the older generations did making it. This will cause a drastic change in the number of religious people in each religion.

Christianity is the worlds largest religion today with over 2.3 billion followers. This is closely followed by the worlds second largest religion, Islam with 1.8 billion followers. Third we have hinduism with 1.1 billion followers. Fourth is Buddhism with 500 million followers. Fifth is Judaism with 10 million followers.
