How can one maintain a healthy social life?

They say social life is measured by the duration and quality of the social interactions we have on a regular basis, both in person and online with friends, family, members of the community and strangers. Well… am not so sure about this as I have a hardtime maintaining contact with people. I am one of those individuals who prefers being alone indoors doing my own things, I get anxious when someone calls my phone and mostly watch it ring then text back to ask what is was about, I avoid meeting people in person and have no social circle. One of the items in my bucket list is to make meaningful friendships but the thing is how will I maintain it?
