The moon landing was not faked but something else was

Many people have suggested that the moon landing was faked to win the space race but there is a lot of evidence against this. From pictures of earth taken from the moon, lunar rock samples brought back, instruments and machines left on the moon during the landing, and eye witnesses from other countries that were on the space race. Clearly, we went to the moon but what was faked was our interest in outer space. One of the reasons we never retureed was because of the fact that the lunar rocks and samples collected did not have any minerals we would find valuable on earth. The moon landing mission happened in the 70’s just after colonisation was ended and human greed took us there to exploit any resources available. After finding just rocks and dust our interest in space reduced significantly and even NASA stopped getting the funding it was getting from government.
