Why does every new dictator in Kenya appoint his tribesmen to head key entities like the Tax Collection, Ports, Airports Authorities, Defense, Central Bank?
I think its normal ,it just comes out naturally and its not about tribalism.
Tribalism and nepotism continue to thrive in most sectors in Kenya. Leaders do everything possible to make their tribesmen benefit. It’s a selfish way of thinking when one is in a position of leadership.
I think that we are now heading towards the right direction. Leaders are no longer appointing their tribesmen for bigger jobs but rather balancing among all the Kenyan tribes. We are not yet there fully, but we are heading towards the right direction.
