If I wanted to play it safe, I would probably just save whatever I can spare. Yet I do not have the luxury of waiting for the savings to accumulate due to pressing needs. For faster multiplication of the little I have, Investing is the way to go. Sometimes depending on one’s goal, you may need to hold the little that you get bit by bit until you get to the investing target amount which means you may have to save for a while before embarking on investing. What we choose to invest in is a whole different story. In my case, I would not have gambling, online trading, or anything that puts me in constant anxiety in my options.

Our younger brothers, sisters and even children are exposed to too much in this day and age. With easily affordable phones and internet, their isn’t much a parent or guardian can do to protect them from socials and websites at large. The best weapon we could arm them with is information. Parents and guardians should get over themselves and just talk about it. What sex is. When to consider having sex. Who to have sex with. Sex and sexual consent. Boundaries as far as ones private space. Safe sex practices. What to do in the event of rape and other inappropriate gestures and contact. I hope there can be reforms in our system as far as rape cases go too.

I count myself lucky for still having a job despite the fact that the cash flow has gone down. That said, we have changed our lifestyles. Definitely. We eat sparingly and when we do, we consider the cost and purchase only what’s necessary. Everyone including kids has learned to ask for what they need and not what they want, we walk more and board cars/matatus less, the luxuries of life have basically been done away with. On the other hand, I am now more receptive to income-generating ideas. Fingers crossed that it all works out for the better for everyone.

So few of us will even bother to go see the artifacts because we are already home. I mean, when is the last time you visited a museum as a local tourist? In my opinion, they can stay in whichever continents they are but displayed especially for our black brothers and sisters who would want to have a feel of a home so far away. A home that their ancestors came from. Proceeds made from these can go towards supporting the black culture in an effort to instill a sense of belonging to our brothers and sisters overseas.

There is the business community to deal with. I’m not sure Sonko can get this effected. But maybe Matiang’i can. Just maybe.

Alright!! Well, I have been coming across such posts/comments so much lately. I am Christian. I also have some questions the Bible doesn’t answer for me. Not other religions have the answer. At the back of mind, the thought the religion was made by man to try tame us is right there. Yet, I can also not negate the benefits I have received from being a believer.

Nowadays I hold onto the truth that what you believe becomes your truth. As it becomes real for you. There are instances science has proven things religion can’t stand a chance in proving. But there are instances my faith has come through for me in ways no science can explain. With all this knowledge and what I continue to experience, I still choose to believe in the Bible and the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
