Daisy Mwikali I think that we learned in Sunday school to call God whenever we are in trouble because we used to call our moms.

Our director at that time of our school asked us, “what will your mom do and she is not where you are?”, “Call upon God because only He alone is Omnipresent and in one way or another is always assisting us in our endeavors” it is very much so instilled in me to call God when I come across any problem.

But right now as an adult, I mostly call upon God to give thanks. Not to question or to request for things. My morning, evening, noon or all time prayer is always in Gratitude.
That is what i do even on the dance floor or meditating in the house or just experienced a car near death experience.

    I Give Thanks!

    1. Admitting they have a problem
    2. Seeking help
    3. Putting in the work as advised.

So what I have learned over time is that the bible has too many missing links and I could go all day since this is what made me become more spiritual than religious. I decided to look at the stories in the Bible as parables. Like new details that always have a very important lesson to guide you throughout life.

I no longer look at the bible as actual real-life stories that happen word for word as written. Also, I think that a lot of the stories are in the spiritual realm and not in the physical so it is hard to imagine the occurrences in the world that we are in in the reality we understand.

Think about that, Also check out my question on the day.

    The Deuterocanonical Books

This is my greatest question about The bible. It makes no sense.

Let me retaliate what a great man once said.

Racism will never end as long as white cars are still using black tires; If people still use black color for bad luck and white for peace; If people still wear white clothes to weddings and black clothes to funerals; As long as those who don’t pay their bills are blacklisted and not ‘whitelisted’… But I don’t care as long as I still use the white tissue paper to wipe my ass! With that only, I will always be very fine. ~Robert Mugabe!
