Some friends are not genuine, they only pretend to be your friend when everything is okay in your life wait until you need their support. Others are just selfish and jealous.

Human beings are inherently selfish and strive for self preservation and survival. Culture makes us embrace each other more in ways that benefits all.
Some people love being the center of attention! They crave attention. They say what people want to hear and entertain with big stories to satisfy this need. Its just a show.
It is not difficult to meet people if you go out and simply say “Hi” to someone. If you are picky like most of us, it is likely that not eveyone you speak to is gravitating to be your newest pal because you truly dont feel the connection either. You are looking for real friends. That takes time to develope and build. Attention seekers will accept anyone who gives them the right amount. It is probably actually a bit lonely and tiring to be constantly entertaining everyone you come across.
Friends these days are blinded by jealousy. They don’t want to see another succeed and that’s why they find it hard to help each other
That goes to challenge the definition of friendship because a real friend would want to help.
