My advice would be you can enrol in weight training because it will help you lose fat, in addition to this you can also check on your diet, eat healthy food and try to avoid food that promote weight gain
Cardio helps burn extra calories and hence loss of weight.
Weight training helps maintain muscles hence lose fat quickly.
It depends with your motive, weight training is majorly for muscle building or rather body building while cardio is best for weight lose and one of it’s benefits is that it’ll help you also exercise most of your body muscles
I would prefer you go for weight training as one loses fat easily compared to cardio, plus drink lots of water and check on your diet.
I totally agree with those who mentioned diet, I also agree with the exercise bit. For me, I lost 9kgs in three months. I used to wake up at 5am, by 5.30am I was running around a 400 metres school truck in a near by primary school.
At first I would start jogging at 6am and my body weight felt so heavy, I managed to run twice, the thrice around…. With time I managed to do five laps, I couldn’t believe it. I kept at that for like a month or so…. Then I started feeling the urge to push my body harder. I learned along the way: don’t stop because your one hour time limit is done, stop because you can’t contain the tiredness anymore. So with this realization, I started running 30 minutes earlier.
With this insight, I began to get to 8 and then to 10 laps. By the third month, I was doing 20 laps around this standard track daily. I never desired to check the weighing scale. So after the third month, I decided to pop in at the gym, I had lost 9kgs! But I needed to tone up because after running my body was left saggy…. So I started following up on the gym for aerobics and weights workout. I managed to maintain for a year until covid hit.
I am also trying to get back…. I regained the 9kgs, but I am coming back everyday. I have a skipping rope and a pair of 2kg weights.
The best method to lose weight fast that has worked for me is to run.
After I moved, I used to run from Gitaru to Uthiru just before covid hit; while going to the gym to weight train, to build on strength.
Cardio is the ultimate on weight loss. Weight training will tone your body to tighten the skin as well as strengthen your muscles.
I hope this encourages you to go for it! And don’t forget your diet please!
REGIONAL INTEGRATION
In moving away from a reliance on Western assistance, African governments should seek to improve regional integration initiatives, which are key to sustaining development and encouraging long-term prosperity for the entire region. Increasing intra-African trade will be a key component to accelerating economic growth, as it will increase industry competition, improve productivity, and develop local infrastructure.
weight training is better because you loose excess fat and build a strong body. Diet management is important too
