Should GOK legalise weed?

  • -1

Kibra MP Ken Okoth plans to introduce a bill in parliament in support of legalizing weed. What’s your take? From my own perspective, I think it’s the right thing to do since it’s even readily available in the market. with its legalization, it will end up boosting the government’s income by taxing it.

The illegal money lost through Prostitution, Weed and Abortion is enough to make Kenya an independent economy… But the cartels benefit from a flawed system, they would never do anything as progressive as this to fix our mess!

Of course not. The negative effects of weed are more than the benefits, if any.

The government of kenya should never legalise weed since they are not ready to control its effects when abused. There will be more harm than good if weed is legalised in kenya. Many of our youth will die young and there will be increase on insecurity among other negative effects.
